Katie Morgan trembled with cold. With a yawn, she gazed at the big cuckoo clock located just beside the squeaking old oak door in her two-roomed suite. Ten to six, impossible! It had already been several hours since she had lay down to rest for a while. Apparently, although strangely, the rest had turned into a nap, which was hard to believe since Katie never in her life of 49 years had fallen asleep in daytime. This nap had taken up the whole afternoon which was originally planned for preparing the arrangements for the arriving visitors. The Shine on Me’s were already here. They had been kind for once by providing her with lemonade and insisting that she was in a state of stress and that she needed to relax.
The sudden high pitched noise of tires breaking on asphalt followed by a crash pulled Katie out of her thoughts. She sat up straight and left her bed to look out of the window. On the approach below she observed a blue, remarkably small car smashed into the side of another car parked in one of the parking lots in front of the house. Mrs. Morgan gave a deep sigh, it was clear that the Wings and Wagons had finally arrived.

‘Are you sure you don’t want anything more to eat Mrs. Morgan? You have barely touched your food tonight. Don’t go and hurt the feelings of the cooking crew, they take it personally’.
